Definately worth the watch
Death note follow the role of a boy named Light Yagami, he become what is knowed as Kira a gets a deathnote from shikigami allowing him to kill others, he kills criminals and is getting traced by a hotshot decetive known as L, after realizing there is another deathnote out from odd deaths, the 2nd Kira finds him and ends up liking him so now the first and 2nd kira work togeter untill L catches them and there forced to...{rest will be a spoiler}
It is a Japanese manga series created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. The series centers around a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing the victim's name and picturing his or her face. The plot follows his attempt to create and lead a world cleansed of evil using the book, and the complex conflict between himself and those assailing him that results.
Death Note was also adapted into a two part live-action movie released in 2006. The two motion pictures were directed by Shasuke Kaneko, produced by Nippon Television and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures Japan.
The first movie, simply titled Death Note, focused on episodes 1-9.
